Greetings Garden Fans!
In these final days before I depart The Garden of Eatin, I have gone a little nuts and am packing out the store for the weekend! Our dried fruits are plum full (no pun intended), as is Pleasant Pond Orchards Granola, the raspberry white chocolate truffle trail mix (thats a mouthful and a delicious one at that!) our sweets and pies, our quiches, and deli salads. I got all kinds of cheese in today including the infamous Roaring
Forties Bleu and another brie, plus Morse's Sour Mustard Pickles
I was in Lewiston today and picked up some of Mailhot's Sweet Italian and Hot Italian sausage. I love going there becuase it always smells so good. Today was no exception. They were cooking something, I forgot the name but the Canadians call it french peanut butter.
The donut man was here today, so if you have been craving Mrs. Dunstan's Donuts, they are here. Plus a few Fox Family Potato Chips.
Oh, by the way, have you seen the Richmond Sports Calendar? In our ad, I say "When Richmond Wins, You Win!" When a Richmond School team wins, the particpants and families (one in the family has to have the uniform) that come in sporting a team uniform, they get $2.00 off a large pizza. Jen will honor that ad and any others I have out there! Last night just as I was cleaning up I spotted a bus coming over the bridge and thought "Oh, not now!" But unfortunately they must have lost and didn't stop here. But if any of you has children in Richmond Sports, we'd love to have y'all come in. Just give a call ahead if you have a large group and we'll be ready for ya'!
We also are well stocked with our hormone free boneless skinless chicken breast and ribeye. We have lots of produce coming in tomorrow and WOW we will be full! So, come on down and help me empty the place out this weekend!
Oh, and one other thing, don't let the crazy "Bridge Closed 4.5 Miles Ahead" sign keep you from coming in the store. Why it has to be right in front of MY store I do not know. But, it has caused some concern among some locals who don't read the rest of the sign that says LOCAL TRAFFIC ONLY. Remember last year, when they ripped out the sidewalk just as we opened and it stayed that way for two months? Oh well!
As ALWAYS I look forward to seeing y'all in The Garden THIS WEEKEND!
