Update from the Garden of Eatin'

Hello Garden Fans,

We got a new shipment of fresh haddock and cooked and peeled shrimp today. So instead of Fresh Fish Friday, it's Seafood Saturday and Sunday! Come on down!

I have seen a lot of cars drive by today, I imagine they are all out hunting for a Christmas tree or going Christmas shopping. I would think that a stop by The Garden of Eatin' for a refreshing cup of coffee or hot chocolate and a sandwich would be the perfect ending for a day spent in the holiday shopping mode.

If your looking for that special something for a gift, let's not forget our local artists who display their pictures and cards here, plus our all new dried fruit & cinnamon tree ornaments from Applewald Farm. When the person came in to show her ornaments, our kitchen crew raved and ordered for themselves, so we got some extra to sell. As a kid we were raised to give practical gifts and in this time of our history, food seems to be the best practical gift next to firewood and clothing. We may not have the clothing, but we have the firewood and food taken care of. So, a gift certificate from the Garden of Eatin' could be right up your alley if you are a practical giver.
